Psychotherapy Sessions
Following our telephone consultation, I schedule initial individual psychotherapy sessions for 90 minutes in duration at $365. Subsequent regular individual therapy sessions are $265 for 50 minutes in duration, once per week. We can discuss more frequent sessions as needed. Longer sessions can also be arranged and will be prorated based on my standard psychotherapy rate.
I do not want finances to limit your story being heard. Should my rate be out of your range at the present time, reach out to me. I am open to discuss a reasonable sliding scale fee for a time period as needed.
Mindfulness Coaching Sessions
Individual mindfulness coaching sessions are $150 for 30 minutes in duration. Longer sessions can also be arranged and will be prorated based on my standard coaching rate.
Insurance/Health Benefits Coverage
- For California residents: Session fees will be charged and you are responsible for payment at each session. I am not currently a provider on all insurance panels. If I am not a provider with your insurance, I can provide you with a monthly statement for you to directly submit to your insurance for direct reimbursement. Please check with your health plan provider to determine eligibility for out-of-network coverage, applicable deductibles and co-pays.
- For British Columbia residents: Session fees plus applicable GST will be charged and you are responsible for payment at each session. Psychological services are NOT covered by MSP. They may be covered in whole or in part by your employee health benefits or through other health insurance/extended health care coverage – please check with your plan provider to determine coverage. I can provide you with receipts for sessions, which you can directly submit for reimbursement from your health insurance/benefits provider. Please note that fees for psychological services can be claimed under tax deductible health services on your income tax return.
Cancellation Policy
24-hour notice of cancellation request is required. Providing less than 24-hour notice will incur a full charge for the session.
